I’m a robust Information Technology Generalist with over 20 years of experience working with a wide variety of operating systems and applications since being honorably discharged from U.S. Marine Corps active duty in 1997. In addition to my degree in Information Systems Management and certification in Relational Database Management I have professional skill levels with coding, application development, database design & development, Microsoft systems administration, VMWare implementation and management, networking & network security, task automation with PowerShell, VBScript & Bash and more. Most of my I.T. career has been spent managing a small (2-3 person) department. While managing the helpdesk team, my regular role for over 15 years was centered around systems administration of a Microsoft Active Directory Network, virtualized on VMWare ESXi, spread across 3 locations, installation of new software and hardware systems, disaster recovery planning and implementation, data migration, developing in-house applications, designing and building custom test equipment with physical computing, installing networking and communications equipment, managing service providers and vendors, and much more.
